SE19Kids was set up by a local mum back in 2011. The baton was passed on to a couple of other local mums. Sadly, we’ve no one with the time to keep it going now. It was last updated at end of 2016.

We still keeping an eye on the Facebook page so if you are a local group wanting to share information, please post to page.

If you’re a local parent interested in keeping the site up-to-date please email se19kids @gmail.com with TAKE OVER in the subject line.

Hi, just came across your site and think it’s great. I was thinking of setting up something similar as there really is quite a lot going on in CP for kids, just that sometimes you’re not sure whats on when! There are a few outdated things on the web so it’s great to have the latest info. Just one thing I can see that needs changing is the Toddlers World soft play at the Sports Centre is now £4.75 or £3.50 for members. I’ll let you know if I come across any other events to add, and will be forwarding your link to all my mummy friends! Thanks, Sarah

Thanks for putting all this in one easy to find place. Will pass to other freelancing Dads looking for regular activities with their kids.

My name is Georgina Dingle and I was a professionsl ballet dancer for many years. I have recently started a ballet class for toddlers at the Soulcialize cafe on the triangle. It is on Thursday’s from 2pm until 3pm.

It would be great if you could put this on your site. What a fabulous idea. I will definitely use some of the information I’ve discovered on here today.

    Many thanks

Wonderful to find this as we’ll be moving to Gipsy Hill in the next couple of months. Lilttle Supernovas sounds great but their website indicates 3-6 years for the Crystal Palace classes, rather than 2-5 as indicated on your site.

Hi SE19 Kids, what a great resource! I notice you do not have anything for Sundays. I run acting classes at the Antenna Studios every Sunday including school holidays. Would it be possible to include this? I run a class for 7-11 year olds from 12.30-14.30 and a class for 12-16 year olds from 14.30-16.30. Further information can be found on my website http://www.southeastacting.co.uk or I can be reached on 07580 895 285. Classes are £10 per 2 hour session if booking for 10 weeks. Thank you! Mary Nash

Thanks for the great site! I refer to your listings at least once a week!

I am wondering if you have considered a board for advertising lessons and such? I offer children’s voice lesson (I am a classically trained singer and have loads of experience working with kids including the boys of the Hampton Court Palace Choir!). Perhaps another option would be to sell advertising?

HI there! These are the changes for the Upper Norwood Library children events:

Thursday morning at 9 30 and 11 30 Waggle and Hum for a pound as usual. ALSO on the Thursday at 1.45 is:
“Bookbug Club: This club for 2-4 year old children now takes place every Thursday afternoon at 1:45pm, even through the school holidays. Minimum £1 donation per child. This is for children who are confidently toddling (approx 18 months) and are able to sit a listen to a short story with parental help. We will do some singing, circle dances and listen to a short story.”
The Bookbug club replaces the ABC Club that was on tuesday mornings at 10am. So nothing now on the tuesday morning.

But on Tuesday the waggle and hum at 1:45pm is now EVERY week and not every second week and is for a pound.

So all this info is on their site with the link I have put with this.

Thanks and merry Christmas! Sangeeta and Ela

Hey, thanks for such a brilliant resource! I wondered if you had considered a ‘what’s nearby’ /local info page, as well as what’s on? For instance our nearest farmers market, nearest craft supply shop, the south London sling library … Things that you might not have otherwise considered and can be difficult to find out. Also council incentives specifically aimed at parents, ie, the cloth nappy voucher, again another thing that mums may not have thought of, but can access through Croydon. I’m sure lots of the mums may have lots of good ideas to go on a list like that!

My one year old and I have been going to a great playgroup at my son’s school, Langbourne Primary (www.langbourneprimary.co.uk for address etc). It’s not very busy so is brilliant for younger ones, and is led by the wonderful Vanessa who taught Gymboree for years before becoming a teaching assistant. The playgroup is on from 9 – 10 a.m. on Fridays, and is free. Can you add the details to your website?

We have a few ‘bulky’ toys that we’re looking to get rid of as Ava no longer plays with them. They’re in good condition, apart from masses of stickers.
Do you know anywhere that would take them…..ideally children’s homes or such like.

I am a local mum and I have been running a Pilates with baby 6 week course at Phoenix Comunity Centre. This class is suitable for mothers from six weeks after delivery, 10 weeks after a cesarean section. It is a friendly class that will help mums recover after pregnancy and birth, calm their mind and get to know other mothers with similar age babies.

The next course is starting on Friday 9th January at 10:30
    Address: 66 Westow Street, SE19 3AF
To book a place or for more info feel free to contact me on zairalo.info@gmail.com or 07578469955

Would it be possible to add my class in this list?
